Felt is nature's wonder fabric, it doesn’t fray, it has no warp or weft and some people believe it has magical properties.
The felt I make celebrates glorious colour in the ‘nuno’ scarves, purses, bags, hats, jackets and jewellery that I create. It is possible to create an endless colour palatte by blending coloured fleece. All these pieces are hand rolled and many pieces have shisha mirrors trapped in the fibres, some of which are colour blended. Sometimes I laminate fleece to dyed silk chiffon to make wonderful soft scarves.
